The San Francisco 49ers are headed back to the Super Bowl. Head coach Kyle Shanahan gets another shot at redemption in the big game.

Before the NFC Championship versus the Detroit Lions, Shanahan made a guarantee to 49ers general manager John Lynch. He said that he would see him on stage.

Of course, that was a promise that his team would pull out the victory. With a historic comeback in the second half, the 49ers did exactly that.

Shanahan's offense came alive in the second half, and the San Fran defense got stops when it mattered most. Shanahan held his promise in check to the Niners GM that has helped him build a consistent contender in the NFC.

The confidence exuded by Shanahan will be a dight to see for Niners fans. He is a calm, reserve coach on the sideline, but his demeanor does not mean that he lacks confidence in his staff and players.

Shanahan understood the magnitude of the game, but he had all of the faith in the world in his team. That's awesome.

From top to bottom, the 49ers have one of the best rosters on both sides of the ball in the sport. Lynch, Shanahan, and co. have proven that they know how to build a team that can reach the Super Bowl.

Now, they will look to bring home the Lombardi trophy.
