The San Francisco 49ers are looking to bounce back from a chastening Christmas Day loss to the Baltimore Ravens, and will have two key players available despite injury issues.

Starting left guard Aaron Banks (toe) and cornerback Ambry Thomas (hand, knee), who starts outside on nickel downs, are both active.

Their presences will each be a significant boost to the Niners as they aim to at least maintain their spot at the top of the NFC heading into the final week of the regular season.

Inactives observations

With Banks and Thomas cleared to play, there are no surprises among the inactives. Jennings, Dwelley, Moore, Armstead and Brown had all already been ruled out.

Veteran Logan Ryan will fill in at safety with Brown unavailable while Armstead's continued absence with foot and knee injuries will see the 49ers use a combination of Javon Kinlaw, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Kevin Givens next to Javon Hargrave. Matt Pryor should be the swing tackle in Moore's absence.

Rookie Ronnie Bell and veteran Chris Conley will likely split time as the third receiver with Jennings unavailable again because of a concussion. The 49ers elevated Tay Martin from the practice squad on Saturday.
