The 49ers' inactives for Week 14 were never likely to include any surprises.
San Francisco listed three players as out and three as doubtful for their second game against the Seattle Seahawks in the space of three weeks.
One of those players, wide receiver and return man Ray-Ray McCloud, was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. The other five are on the inactives list.
49ers inactives
- QB Brandon Allen
- G Spencer Burford
- RB Elijah Mitchell
- TE Ross Dwelley
- DT Arik Armstead
- CB Darrell Luter Jr.
- DE Robert Beal Jr.
Inactives observations
Arik Armstead (knee and foot) and Ross Dwelley (ankle) were already ruled out. Javon Kinlaw, the 49ers' 2020 first-round pick, will get the start at defensive tackle in Armstead's absence. He had two sacks last week in the win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
With Spencer Burford out as expected, veteran Jon Feliciano will start at right guard for the second time this season. He also has two starts at left guard.
Jordan Mason will be Christian McCaffrey's main backup with Elijah Mitchell out of the lineup. The 49ers promoted running back Jeremy McNichols from the practice squad on Saturday.
Rookie linebacker Jalen Graham will make his debut. He had been inactive for every game this season but gets the nod over fellow first-year player Robert Beal Jr.
