The San Francisco 49ers released undrafted rookie wideout Shae Wyatt on Monday and now, per The Score's Jordan Schultz, they're bringing in XFL star WR Jahcour Pearson for a second workout.

The 49ers receiver room has quality players, but it could certainly use some depth and Pearson would provide just that. He's a bit undersized at 5-foot-9, 180-pounds, but according to his coach, Jim Haslett, the dude can run a 4.28 40, which means he can flat-out fly.

Even if that's not the case, he was officially clocked at 4.42 during his 2022 Pro Day, so he has speed. He even showed it off during the 49ers' rookie minicamp back in May:

It'll be interesting to see if the 49ers sign Pearson on their last day of minicamp. If he is in fact signed, his name will certainly be one to watch when the team starts training camp in late July.
