The San Francisco 49ers will get one All-Pro back in Week 14 in the form of Talanoa Hufanga, but they will once again be without Nick Bosa.

San Francisco had left open the possibility of Bosa making a return from the hip/oblique injuries that have kept him out for the last two games by listing him as doubtful on Friday despite the former Defensive Player of the Year once again missing another week of practice.

But the 49ers shut down that possibility on Wednesday, downgrading him to out. San Francisco did the same with guard Aaron Banks (concussion), who had been listed as questionable.

Safety Hufanga, though, will make his return from a wrist injury after the 49ers elected to activate him from injured reserve. Hufanga, who came back from a torn ACL suffered in November last year in Week 3, has only played in two games this season.

But the 2022 first-team All-Pro will now take the roster spot of fellow safety George Odum, who has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury that cropped up this week.

The 49ers also made official the move to place running back Jordan Mason on IR. Mason suffered a high ankle sprain in last week's defeat to the Buffalo Bills.

Taking his place on the 53 is offensive tackle Sebastian Gutierrez, who will give the Niners more depth at the position as All-Pro Trent Williams' absence from an ankle injury continues.

In addition to these moves, the 49ers also elevated running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn and linebacker Jalen Graham to the gameday roster for a must-win clash with the Bears.
