The San Francisco 49ers have one of the best position groups in the league based on one recent ranking an NFL analyst did.

Sure, they may have the deepest quarterback room, but that differs from what is being ranked here. No, the 49ers have one of the top-five best-receiving units in the league, and honestly, that sounds about right. They could even be a little higher.

When you factor in everyone on the team that catches passes, the 49ers definitely deserve to be in that conversation. They have a guy in every skill position room who is elite in the receiving area, and then they have a bunch of guys who are really good at it.

Here is what one NFL analyst had to say about the 49ers unit and why he ranked them where he did:

4. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS There are so many receiving weapons to choose from in the Niners' offense. They have Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk at the receiver positions, George Kittle at tight end, and now Christian McCaffrey out of the backfield. From Week 7 on — when they acquired McCaffrey — the 49ers earned the highest team receiving grade in the league at 87.3. –Trevor Sikkema, PFF

When you think of receiving units in the league, not often can you throw in that the running back is one of the best pass-catchers on the team. In this case, he is. You don't frequently see a team with a running back who is extremely good at catching and a wide receiver who runs the ball.

Deebo Samiel is another one too. It may not seem like it because of how many different ways the 49ers use him, but he is one of the best pass-catchers in the league. Then you factor in Brandon Aiyuk, who is an underrated receiver in the league. And, of course, who could forget, George Kittle?

There is a reason the 49ers' offense is such a good year in and year out. Sure, they have a dynamic system. However, they have pass catchers everywhere.
