The San Francisco 49ers have won just two of their five games so far this season despite being favored in every one.

But confidence in Kyle Shanahan's team among the oddsmakers seemingly remains unshaken despite their latest collapse, which saw them let a 13-point lead slip in a 24-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Indeed, the 49ers are once again favored as they go on the road to face the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field on Thursday Night Football.

Per DraftKings Sportsbook, the 49ers open as three-point favorites for an NFC West clash that will see them attempt to extend their winning streak over the Seahawks to six games (including postseason).

Their status as favorites may raise eyebrows given the Niners recent failures to close out games against the Los Angeles Rams and the Cardinals.

But it will be in part reflective of the Seahawks' latest struggles, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

Having given up 42 points to the Detroit Lions in Week 4, the Seahawks were stunned 29-20 at home by the New York Giants on Sunday. New York, without top weapon Malik Nabers, racked up 420 yards of offense against Mike MacDonald's defense.

Those numbers suggest a 49er offense that has moved the ball at will against most teams this season will be able to do the same in Seattle despite MacDonald's defense causing San Francisco issues when the Niners lost to the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day last year.

But with the 49ers coming off a game in which they went one for six in the red zone, there is no guarantee of them finding a way to finish against Seattle and justifying their favorites tag in what will almost certainly be a raucous road atmosphere.
