Most San Francisco 49ers fans probably aren't interested in reliving last season, or at least how it ended.
But they will get a chance to do so through the eyes of two of the team's biggest stars, Deebo Samuel and George Kittle.
Both are starring in a new Netflix series 'Receiver', which will follow the stories of five pass-catchers during the 2023 NFL season. Last year, Netflix followed Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota through the 2022 season in its show 'Quarterback'.
In addition to the two Niners stars, 'Receiver' will also track the fortunes of Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
It will be fascinating to see the contrast between the emotions of Kittle and Samuel with those of St. Brown during the NFC Championship Game, which saw the 49ers produce a historic comeback to punch their ticket by beating St. Brown and the Detroit Lions.
As for the finale, which will surely center around the 49ers' overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 58, it might be best to skip that one.
