San Francisco and Minnesota round off the Week 7 schedule with what would appear to be a lopsided matchup in favor of the road team at U.S. Bank Stadium.
But the 49ers will need to overcome a pair of significant injuries on offense if they are to vindicate their status as clear favorites and improve to 6-1.

How much will CMC play?
The 49ers will likely have to overcome two major absences on offense with Trent Williams doubtful with an ankle injury and Deebo Samuel ruled out for at least two games with a hairline fracture in his shoulder.
They were both hurt in last week's heartbreak loss to the Cleveland Browns, but one player who was also injured in Cleveland who is on track to play is NFL rushing leader Christian McCaffrey, who has been dealing with an oblique issue.
McCaffrey is the undoubted focal point of the attack and will obviously be crucial to the 49ers' Super Bowl hopes. As such, it will be interesting to see how much they are willing to lean on a player they can ill-afford to lose, especially if the Niners do get a comfortable lead.
Can Purdy respond?
Last week's defeat marked Purdy's worst performance as the 49ers' starting quarterback as he lost for the first time in an NFL game where he both started and finished.
Going against the league's best defense, Purdy completed just 12 of his 27 attempts for 125 yards, a touchdown and an interception.
He will be anticipated to bounce back and resume the form that had him as the MVP frontrunner through five weeks, though without All-Pro left tackle Williams against a Vikings defense that blitzes more than any other in the NFL, Purdy will have to overcome some adversity to do so. Purdy's Monday Night Football debut serves as an underrated test of his mettle.
3 Players to Watch
- OT Jaylon Moore: With Williams set to miss out, there is huge pressure on swing tackle Moore to prevent Purdy from being under duress too often. It will be Moore's sixth start, and head coach Kyle Shanahan is confident he has had the practice time this year to rise to the occasion.
- WR Brandon Aiyuk: Samuel's absence and the role tight end George Kittle will have to play in the blocking game makes it likely McCaffrey and Aiyuk will be the focus of the passing attack. Injury prevented Aiyuk's hot start from being more impressive, but a wide receiver who entered Week 7 fifth in yards per route run will be expected to flourish in the national spotlight.
- DT Javon Hargrave: The 49ers' big-ticket free agent signing is without a sack in his last two games. Going against a Vikings offensive line that had the fourth-highest pressure rate allowed going into Week 7 and is missing a starting guard in Ezra Cleveland, he'll have designs on ending that streak.
