For a while now, 49ers fans have labeled SoFi Stadium as 'Levi's South' given the extent to which they have packed the seats for road games against the Rams.

San Francisco's uniform choice for the Week 2 meeting with Los Angeles reflects the feeling of SoFi as a second home for the 49ers.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that the Niners will wear their home reds on Sunday as they look to extend their regular-season winning streak over the Rams to nine games.

That streak started back in Week 3 of the 2019 season, when the 49ers throttled the Rams 20-7 at the Los Angeles Coliseum, a game in which they wore their home reds.

Since then, the Niners have worn their road whites for their three regular-season wins at SoFi, as well as the agonizing NFC Championship Game defeat at the end of the 2021 season.

They'll hope the switch does not bring about a change in fortune, though Nick Bosa is confident the Niners will have the majority of the support on their side.

Per Cam Inman of The Mercury News, Bosa said: "I think we have the best traveling fan base overall. Pittsburgh was impressive and I think we’ll take over LA.”
