Brandon Aiyuk, the San Francisco 49ers' utility wide receiver, isn't short of confidence.

In fact, he's predicting his own monster season as he takes part in organized team activities throughout the offseason.

"I'm about to take off. That's it." Aiyuk said following Wednesday's OTA practice. "Just getting a better understanding of my life as a person and as a football player. Kind of putting those two things together, and then just looking to get better, so I feel like now having another offseason on top, being able to build on top, coming out here again for another spring OTAs being able to work with those guys, being able to work on my craft and get better. Just continue to get better, that's really it and I see it."

It is more than evident that Aiyuk is set to build on what was a productive 2022 season.

He tallied his first 1,000-yard receiving season of his career (1,015), and he also pitched in with eight touchdowns on 78 receptions.

But that is the tip of the iceberg.

Aiyuk was extremely productive in what he described as the "fourth" option role. He believes that in a bigger role, he can put up even more impressive numbers.

"That's just how it's been," he said of the role he played. "I feel like it's supposed to be that way. That's what keeps me going, that's what keeps me motivated, keeps me angry, in a sense."

If the Niners get an even better Aiyuk, the offense, aside from the quarterback position, has an answer for every form of NFL defense.

But talk is cheap, Aiyuk will have to produce on the field to back it up.
