There was never really any doubt that Christian McCaffrey was going to be a huge factor in the San Francisco 49ers' playoff campaign, and his impact in their thrilling divisional round win over the Green Bay Packers could hardly have been more pronounced.

McCaffrey had 98 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, along with 30 yards receiving, as the 49ers came back from a 21-14 fourth-quarter deficit to knock off the seven seed Packers, his second score a six-yard rush that put the Niners ahead for good with a little over a minute remaining. Dre Greenlaw's second interception of Jordan Love iced the game.

That clinching touchdown will be the only thing McCaffrey cares about, but the 49er running back also made NFL history with his excellent display.

McCaffrey became the fourth running back, and sixth player, in NFL history to record at least 50 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in each of his first five career playoff games.

Marcus Allen, Terrell Davis and Curtis Martin are the other three running backs on the list, with Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald the two non-running backs on the list.

It is exalted company for McCaffrey to be keeping, but his sole focus is on joining the ranks of Super Bowl winners. Thanks to another historic effort, he's a step closer.
