Brock Purdy managed to find a way to lead the San Francisco 49ers to victory over the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round despite struggling significantly in the rain at Levi's Stadium.
Purdy was inaccurate for much of last Saturday's thrilling 24-21 win, with the elements appearing to hinder him before he went six of seven, with one drop, on a game-winning drive that was capped by a six-yard touchdown run from Christian McCaffrey.
But the forecast for Sunday's NFC Championship Game suggests he will not have to deal with the rain against the Detroit Lions.
Per NFLWeather.com, Levi's Stadium will see partly cloudy conditions with winds of around seven miles per hour and gusts of eight to 10 mph during the game.
The chance of rain is a very slight three percent.
In other words, Purdy shouldn't have to deal with the rain as he looks to help the 49ers get back to the Super Bowl by winning what is the franchise's third successive NFC Championship Game.
A Lions defense that has made strides in the postseason should still prove a significant obstacle, however, with wet weather removed from the equation, Purdy is seemingly in a better position to succeed. It is imperative that he takes advantage of it.

It’s a clear sign.
