NFL Network recently ran a segment asking, Which team has the ability to improve the most despite not having a first-round pick?

There are currently five teams with no first-round picks in this draft. Those teams are the Miami Dolphins, LA Rams, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Analyst Daniel Jeremiah's answer to the question was the 49ers. Despite not having a pick in the first or second round, they are still loaded with draft capital.

They currently hold 11 total picks, including three in the third round, three in the fifth round, one in the sixth round, and four in the seventh round. This is tied for the second most picks out of any NFL team this year.

They traded their 2023 first round pick in the Trey Lance trade and their 2023 second round pick in the Christian McCaffrey trade.

Daniel calls them a team with “not many needs that has a lot of picks.” He talks about how they can package picks to move up if they want and acquire players that stand out to them.

Daniel mentions right tackle as a position to keep an eye on for the 49ers.

No matter how this draft plays out, you can bet that the 49ers will be active and will be making moves up and down the draft board.
