The New Orleans Saints said goodbye to Sean Payton, and now, they are in hot water with their coaching staff. Dennis Allen and Pete Carmichael Jr. are under a lot of pressure.

Meanwhile, Payton's Denver Broncos have gotten back on track, winning four in a row. They just beat the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12. With the win, the second-round pick from Denver that New Orleans owns dropped to the 47th overall selection.

If you looked at that pick just a few weeks ago, the Saints were in position to get a pic inside the top 40. At one point, the pick was as high as 34th overall.

Right now, the Saints are projected to get the 19th overall pick from their own performance this season. That will change based on their wins/losses to complete the season.

Dennis Allen has proven over the past two seasons that he is not the answer at head coach for the Saints. Let's be clear. Sean Payton is not, either, but it is tough to see his team performing well while New Orleans scuffles.

As long as Dennis Allen is the HC of the Saints and Pete Carmichael Jr. is their OC, fans need to tempter expectations.

Regardless, the Broncos' recent success continues to damper things even further for the Saints.
