Rams at Seahawks NFC Championship Final Score Predictions

Seahawks 27, Rams 23

It is a tad bit scary to trust Sam Darnold over Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay here. That being said, the Seattle defense plays with its hair on fire, and it won’t surprise me if they stymie the passing attack for Los Angeles early on in this game. The defensive backs for the Seahawks are arguably the top group in football, and they stop you from running the ball to set up deeps shots in the passing game.

In the end, I lean on the side of a Seattle squad that hasn’t shown many blemishes all season long. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is one of the top wide receivers in the league quickly into his pro career, and I would be shocked to not see them test the Rams secondary with the speed of Rashid Shaheed. It’s a battle to the final moments, but the Seahawks return to the Super Bowl.

Seahawks 27, Rams 21

“The Rams have a stronger and more explosive offensive group, but the Seahawks are a better-rounded team. I know the San Francisco 49ers had to manage so many injuries, but what the Seahawks did in the divisional round was super impressive in all phases of football.

Sam Darnold brings an element of risk, but the offensive line protects him well and the talented offensive pieces take the burden out of the quarterback’s shoulders. Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, and Davante Adams can certainly overcome that, but I’m not as confident in the Rams’ overall performance after a tough game against the Chicago Bears. It’ll be close, but I’m taking the Seahawks to win on Sunday and to win the Super Bowl.” — Wendell Ferreira

Rams 30, Seahawks 24

“In my opinion, the Rams and Seahawks have not only been the two best NFC teams but also the two best overall teams in the NFL this season. Each has a dynamic offense and defense that have made opposing teams’ lives hell all year long. They split the season series, and now, luckily, we get to see a part three for all the marbles to be named NFC champions.

If I had a bore, Matthew Stafford would be the league’s MVP, and he has a chance to punch his ticket to his second Super Bowl. I, for one, won’t be betting against him, so give me the Rams to go into Seattle and take down the Seahawks in what has game-of-the-year potential.” — Destin Adams

Rams 34, Seahawks 28

“Playoff experience is going to be extremely valuable from here on out and it’s hard not to bet against Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford, even on the road, in this game. The Rams in – ideal weather conditions this time around – are capable of scoring some big points. Los Angeles scored 30+ points in 10 different games this season, including the wild card road win against the Carolina Panthers.

I have a strong feeling 30+ points will be needed if the Rams want to prevail and book their trip back to the Super Bowl. Seattle has the ability to score points in a hurry too, but I have a hard time seeing Sam Darnold step up to the plate in such a big game. It’ll be close, but I gotta go with the Rams in this one.” — Kole Noble
