The Seattle Seahawks 2023 NFL schedule is out and there are some good and bad things to take away from it.

As far as the good, we know the Seahawks have three primetime games, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it's just about right for the product they put on the field last year. The Seahawks should be better with the pieces they have coming into the 2023 season, but that doesn't mean they won't have some bad things on their schedule.

Every team has good and bad things when their schedule releases. One CBS Sports analyst listed the good and the bad, but they left off one important thing.

Seattle Seahawks

One good thing for the Seahawks: The Seahawks' first three games of the season will be coming against three teams that didn't make the playoffs last year, which means Seattle could get off to a hot start and surprise some people for the second year in a row.

One bad thing for the Seahawks: Starting in Week 12, the Seahawks will play four straight games against teams that all made the divisional playoffs last season. The stretch includes two games against the 49ers along with a road game against the Cowboys and a home game against the Eagles. Yikes. –John Breech, CBS Sports

The Seahawks have an early bye week, and it isn't like a few weeks earlier than the midway point of the season. No, it's a few weeks into the season. The Seahawks have a bye week in Week 5, which is actually absurd. This means that near the end of the season, they will be beaten up and exhausted.

If I got to pick my bye week, it would be the halfway point, which is week 9. Obviously, they don't get to pick, but that's what would be ideal. Now they will play four games, then rest, then play 13 games.
