The Seattle Seahawks are one of the best teams in the NFC right now. This much shouldn't come as a surprise to the Seattle faithful that was always confident in this group, and the hype surrounding this team is growing on the national level as well.

Everyone knew that Seattle would come into the season with a high-powered offense centered around one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL, but the more surprising part of this team has been the defense.

Seattle's defense has been dominant over the past month, and the game against the Browns this weekend could cement that even further.

The Seahawks defense has been on a bit of a hot streak recently. Sitting at 2-1 in the month of October, Seattle has only surrendered 30 total points.

This is a dramatic change over last season, but the roll doesn't stop here. The Seahawks face off against the Cleveland Browns this weekend, and despite their wins the past two weeks, they have the worst starting quarterback in football right now.

PJ Walker has been bad for two weeks, but even that hasn't been enough to slow down the best defense in football and an excellent coaching staff in Cleveland. Still, it will be hard for this guy to turn things around this weekend based on his recent stats:

Walker hasn't done much of anything, and that shouldn't change much when he faces the weapons on this Seahawks defense. Seattle should be able to get him off his game early, force Walker to make some bad plays, and should be able to generate turnovers early and often if the past few weeks have been any indication.

The future is bright in Seattle and the bandwagon is picking up speed. It might be best to hop on now because a team that gives up just ten points per game in the month of October, regardless of their competition, is going to be tough to deal with come the playoffs.
