So far, the preseason has shown us that the Seattle Seahawks are going to be a problem on offense in 2023.
How opposing teams will slow this unit down with a consistent quarterback and a great receiving corps is going to keep plenty of defensive coordinators up in the weeks leading up to games against the Seahawks.
Assuming Jaxon Smith-Njigba is able to recover from his recent surgery as soon as possible, the Seahawks could start the season with a lot of positive momentum. The opposite happening could slow this whole franchise down.
The injury doesn't seem too serious, but the Seahawks do have to be hoping that this doesn't bleed too far into the start of the season.
How the team is able to come together during the later stretch of the schedule is obviously the most important, but getting this unit as many reps as possible to get comfortable with one another would go a very long way.
Seattle may still have one of the scariest wide receiver rooms in the NFL even with JSN off the field, but it is obvious after a few weeks in the preseason that this team could reach a very different level in 2023 if they can keep all three of their top wide receivers on the field for as many reps as possible.
Hopefully JSN is back and ready to play as soon as possible. It will be a different team with him on the field.
