The Seattle Seahawks might have one of the most fun wide receiver rooms in the NFL right now. When it comes to the regular season, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba are going to be one of the best trios in the league, but the Seahawks have also done something special in the pre-season.

With the starters on the bench, Seattle has spent a lot of time evaluating young, undrafted talent and two names specifically have stood out.

Jake Bobo is a name that everyone has already heard of and should make the roster easily, but Seattle also has another guy that went undrafted a few years ago that should get plenty of attention on his own in the form of Easop Winston.

Winston is another example of a guy who picked the perfect time to turn it on and make it hard for his team to make a decision. There is a fierce battle that has been going on for weeks now for the depth wide receiver spots in Seattle and it feels like everyone is making their own convincing case.

As much as Bobo has earned the attention of the media for extremely consistent play in the pre-season, Winston has been right there as well.

With a handful of catches in key pre-season moments, including a touchdown, an obvious team-focused attitude, with a willingness to block in the run-game, and quality talent for running routes, Winston has shown in the pre-season games and at practice that he deserves extra consideration for a roster spot.

There may be a lot of depth guys that are competing for not a lot of depth spots, but don’t be surprised if you see Winston’s name on the 53 man roster in a few weeks.
