The Seahawks drafted Shaquill Griffin in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent his first four years in the league in Seattle, where he appeared in 57 games and made 53 starts. During that time, he recorded six interceptions and 48 pass deflections. His best season came in his last year with the team in 2020, when he set his career high with three interceptions.

Since leaving the Seahawks, he's spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, and the Minnesota Vikings. He is no longer a player viewed as an option to be a team's top CB like he was during his time with the Seahawks. He would still be a solid option as a rotational piece for the Seahawks, and if they could get a deal done, it could help them focus their selections in the 2025 NFL Draft elsewhere.
