The start of the 2023 season has officially come for the NFL. While Seahawks fans assuredly enjoyed having a game of any kind on after the long wait the started in February, the best fans in football are ready to see their team again.
The good news on that in is that the opening game will be here in just a few days, and the even better news is that the injury report tells a very bright story for Seattle.
The only player that is currently out for Sunday's matchup against the Rams is Jamal Adams.
This has been the direction that it has been going for a few days now, and Kenneth Walker officially coming away from the report completely sets the team up to be as offensively potent as possible in the opening showing.
It will still hurt not having Adams, and Witherspoon being questionable is disappointing for a player that the team was so high on, but Adams hasn't been a consistent producer on this defense for a while now and Witherspoon hasn't played a rep before to be missed.
For all intents and purposes, the Seahawks are going into Week 1 with as healthy a roster as they could ask for, and that should spell plenty of trouble for the Rams.
