Jamal Adams has taken responsibility for his outburst on Monday night.
The safety returned to the field for the first time in 285 days on Monday night but lasted just a few plays before going down.
Adams collided with Daniel Jones and his head went right into the New York Giants quarterback's knee. He was visibly dizzy following the play and was taken into the medical tent.
Adams was heard yelling at the unaffiliated neuotrauma consultant inside and outside the medical tent.
Because of his outburst, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the NFL is considering possible disciplinary action against Adams for his actions towards the doctor.
However, Adams took to X, the app formerly known as Twitter, voicing his apologies towards the concussion doctor.
"First and foremost, I want to apologize to the OG. You did everything right when you realized I was concussed, I apologize for any negative energy I brought your way.
Watching the replay, I am thankful for your patience knowing I wasn't really myself in that moment. You're a real one and you serve a great purpose that benefits the NFL and so many players. Prioritizing player's health is essential. Much respect to you!"
After not playing for 13 months, Adams returned to the field at MetLife Stadium to aid the Seattle Seahawks. However, the three-time Pro Bowler lasted just a few plays, getting injured on the first drive.
A competitive player, it's no surprise that he was upset over having to leave the field earlier than expected and his apology shows how sincere he is after the incident.
