Julian Love was one of the heroes of the Seattle Seahawks' shock Week 15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday.
He has been rewarded further for his performance, which saw him record two interceptions, including the game-clinching pick of Jalen Hurts in the dying seconds.
Love has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 16.
On top of his two picks, Love also recorded eight tackles, becoming only the third Seahawks player since 2000 to have at least five tackles and a pair of interceptions in a primetime game.
It is his first career Player of the Week award, with Love following in the footsteps of teammate Quandre Diggs, who was the last Seahawks safety to receive the honor.
Diggs won the award for his performance in Seattle's Week 18 win over the Los Angeles Rams last season, which clinched the Seahawks' place in the playoffs.
The Seahawks, who are 7-7, still have work to do to qualify for the postseason this year. However, in Diggs and Love, they have two playmaking safeties who can make a big difference as they look to achieve that feat.
