Seahawks heading into perfect game to bring back important piece
The Seattle Seahawks haven't been whole yet this season. Injuries have hit Seattle hard, and while the team didn't get the 3-0 start that was obviously on the table, 2-1 with a chance to go 3-1 isn't bad either. The Seahawks have a lot to hang their hat on this season. The offense has been […]

The Seahawks have a lot to hang their hat on this season. The offense has been solid and a win over the Lions is plenty to celebrate. The one shortcoming has been the defense, but that should change soon.
The return of Jamal Adams tonight should help make the Seahawks take their steps towards a return of a good defense. What better team is there to get right against than the Giants?
Jamal Adams feels like he has been out forever. It also has felt like he has been on the cusp of a return forever as well.
Regardless of the time, the Seahawks are ready to have their most expensive player back on the field and contributing, and Adams is the type of guy that should make a very fast impact.
There isn't a team in the NFL that wouldn't be happy to have a better pass rush. Adams helps that immediately-even if he isn't playing at 100%.
While it has been some time for Adams and he is sure to need some reps to get back up to speed in a safe manner, the Giants are about as good a team to do this against as any.
New York has looked very bad for most of the season and the combination of Daniel Jones holding the ball too long and a weak pass rush should lead to plenty of opportunities for Adams to get a few great shots on the quarterback and get his confidence back.
Sometimes, all it takes is one big play to get a guy back and up to their full potential. If that is indeed all that Jamal Adams needs to get back to his position as one of the best safeties in the NFL, this is as good a game as any to achieve that goal.
