The Seattle Seahawks sit atop the NFC West for the first time this season after a dominant month of October on both sides of the ball.

This journey wasn't perfect and hasn't really reached the meat of the schedule yet without division games, but the Seahawks are doing about as well as they could.

Now, the goal turns to keeping that top spot in the division, and that could be easier said than done with the 49ers finding a way to steal pass rusher Chase Young.

If the price for Young was just a third-round pick, more teams should've gotten busy with that opportunity.

Still, the move is done, and the focus for Seattle turns to finding a way to let play on the field outweigh pure talent.

This can be easier said than done. The 9ers have assembled a powerhouse with their roster outside of the quarterback position, and finding ways to score on that defense just got harder.

Chase Young is playing some of the best football of his career and joins a defensive line that hasn't struggled too much to put opposing quarterbacks under pressure. 

This defense should be the best that Young has played with during his short NFL career and that could open up doors for Young to dominate opposing offensive linemen in new ways.

While the Seahawks did already find a way to get better this week through a trade and still have one of the best defenses in the NFL, their two games against the 49ers over the back half of the season are going to be extremely difficult.
