Life in the NFL is all about the quarterback position, so it makes complete sense Monday started and ended with big news about two big-named QBs.

The Seattle Seahawks decided to join the quarterback-signing-party less than 12 hours after the New Orleans Saints inked Derek Carr to a four-year, $150 million deal.

And, like many imagined, the Seahawks' decision involved re-signing Geno Smith.

Per The Score's Jordan Scultz, Smith and the Seahawks are in the process of finalizing a three-year deal worth $105 million. Smith can earn up to $52 million in the first year, alone.

It's quite the haul for Smith, who's made just a little more than $17.4 million over the course of his 11-year NFL career. He's never made more than $7 million in a single season, either, and that came in 2022 with the Seahawks.
