The Seattle Seahawks still have some big needs before they head into the 2024 NFL Draft. However, that's exactly what the draft is for.

They addressed a few of those needs in free agency, and now, as they gear up for the next biggest thing on the NFL calendar, they have made another move to help bolster their roster in a crucial position group that they desperately needed.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Seahawks are signing former NFC West rival and veteran guard Laken Tomlinson, who played for the San Francisco 49ers before playing with the New York Jets last season. The deal is worth up to four million.

The Seahawks had three guards on the roster before they signed Tomlinson. Now, they have two for both sides. Tomlinson is exactly what the Seahawks needed, as he has nine years of experience under his belt.

He played in San Francisco for five years, so he is comfortable and knows what's coming in the NFC West. This was a great signing by the Seahawks.
