DK Metcalf, star wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, has a bit of an image problem from time to time.
Fans of other teams would call Metcalf "dirty." Seahawks fans know this isn't true, especially when you look at who Metcalf is as a person and how he carries himself off the field, but it is becoming harder and harder to defend him.
The penalties are becoming all too common, and a recent play by Metcalf that resulted in a fine shows this as well as anything.
The most recent play doesn't look all the good. This hit is obviously dirty and the fine was more than deserved.
Hits like this just can't happen, even if the game is frustrating.
Metcalf is better than this as a player and as a person. Hits like this just give him a bad name, and a change will be needed soon if the Seahawks star doesn't want to keep accumulating fines.
