With two weeks remaining before the NFL Draft, team rosters are starting to take shape, and the Seattle Seahawks are no different.

After stringing together a surprise NFL Playoff appearance in the 2022 NFL season, Seattle is looking to build on that success by adding key free agents and bringing back Geno Smith at quarterback on a team-friendly contract.

Despite the moves to improve next season. DraftKings Sportsbook set the over/under on the win total for Seattle at 8.5 games.

Though the 8.5 wins mark is an improvement from last season's 5.5, it still isn't where Seattle wants to be as a team.

Maybe it simply highlights how much Seattle still has to do in order to compete in the upper echelon of NFL teams. And that is a fair assessment.

Seattle made moves to improve, overhauling its defensive front seven, signing inside linebackers Devin Bush and the returning Bobby Wagner while adding defensive end Dre'Mont Jones and defensive tackle Jarran Reed.

But outside of improving the defense, Seattle still has questions in the running game, and the organization still needs to make sure Smith isn't a one-year wonder at quarterback.

Last year, Seattle hit on the over. This year the organization is clearly attempting to do the same.
