The Seattle Seahawks still have a bit of time before their final roster is due, but it is starting to become that time where people wonder where the first cuts will land.

Seattle has some new faces that are obvious locks for the 53-man roster, but other names make a bit more sense for the still-important practice squad.

While a lot can change between today and tomorrow, here are the guys with a good shot of landing on the practice squad for 2023:

Matt Landers
SaRodorick Thompson
Outside running back signing
Griffin Hebert
John Hall
Easop Winston
Liam Ryan
Kendall Randolph
Jalen McKenzie
Myles Adams
Austin Faoliu
Christian Young
Arquon Bush
Jonathan Sutherland
Vi Jones
Ty Okada

A few changes could come between now and the final cutdown date, but this seems like a close approximation of where the practice squad could fall based on position.

Another running back with a bit better injury luck would make some sense for a team that wants to run the ball a lot and has been struggling with injuries, but Seattle could also choose to roster three backs and then keep two current guys on the practice squad.

One way or another, this group would give the Seahawks enough depth to rely on in the short term to make sure they have enough bodies to call upon in the case of emergency.
