The Pittsburgh Steelers may be a team of tradition, but they aren't immune to adaptation.
Understanding the pressures that the modern-day NFL puts on cornerbacks, they underwent a remodeling of that position this offseason.
That means that former contributors had to be let go, with one corner slated to be back in Pittsburgh in 2023, only he'll be on a different team:
Ravens Nearing Agreement With Arthur Maulet

After signing with Pittsburgh in 2021, Maulet was released this offseason despite coming off a year that saw him tie a career-high in interceptions, and set personal records in sacks and tackles.
The former nickel for Pittsburgh just turned 30 and is now likely on his way to Baltimore, per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Media:
To be clear, Maulet is no shoo-in to make the roster in Baltimore. The veteran corner has been available for nearly three months now, and the Ravens' roster is one of the best in the league, with no expectations being made at corner.
But Maulet has proven to be valuable in this league, adding durability, depth, and experience to any defensive backfield, especially a younger group like the Ravens.
So maybe Maulet doesn't even make the 53-man roster, but if he does, let's just hope he remembers the good times in Pittsburgh, and not the fact they released him.
Something tells me that's not exactly how things would go though.
