The Pittsburgh Steelers are not the marquee on Sunday afternoon given the game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. EST, the same time that the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs square off in one of the most anticipated matchups of the early NFL season.
We know the league is built on brand power and star QBs something both teams have in terms of the latter, with the Chiefs becoming one of the biggest brands in all of professional sports.
Announcing Team
Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta and Aditi Kinkhabwala will be on the Denver game call. The A team for CBS, Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson are going to be the crew calling a game of Chiefs-Bengals magnitude.
What to Watch For
It's still early, but based on Mike Tomlin's comments during his weekly presser, the odds of Wilson returning to Denver as the starter seem to be slipping as he nurses his calf injury.
We'll see how things progress, but for now it's looking like Justin Fileds is in line to start.
But whoever plays QB could be one step closer to having a better WR corps, as Coach Tomlin was very bullish on the potential debut of rookie WR Roman Wilson:
"Expect an uptick in the participation of guys like Roman Wilson, who's working his way back to us, who's a partial participant times and so forth, man. We're excited about getting him in the fold and seeing him maybe take a step," said Tomlin.
Wilson is not the only rookie who is on pace to make his debut however, with Troy Fautanu getting closer and closer to inserting himself into the lineup, especially in light of the injury to Dan Moore Jr.
