It is going to be hard to put into words just how important that win was for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
That game was a must-win for a variety of reasons, and the team finding a way to step up to stay in control of their own playoff destiny is extremely underrated, especially on the road against a decent team.
Going up and playing well against Green Bay is far from an easy task. That didn't matter for Baker Mayfield given the fact he was able to go and put one of the best performances of his career. This performance was so good that it was actually historic.
Despite everything that has been working against the Buccaneers from their coaching staff to injuries and player performances, none of that was enough to stop Mayfield en route to the only perfect passer rating away at Lambeau in NFL history.
This was the type of quarterback performance that the Buccaneers desperately needed. Mayfield finished the game 22/28 for 381 yards and four touchdowns.
An early fumble may have hurt, but even that wasn't enough to take away from the fact that this was such a good day for Mayfield. This was everything the Bucs could've hoped to get out of their QB and more, and the fact that he is making a mere $4 million to do it is outstanding.
Making history is more than fitting for such a great day, especially when it means just as much for Tampa's playoff hopes and what this means for the rest of their season.
When the Bucs end up trying to figure out who their starting quarterback is next season, expect for people to talk about this game plenty.

Still rolling ahead, somehow.
