The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one step closer to the Super Bowl after taking down the Philadelphia Eagles 32-9 on Monday night.

Next, the Bucs will travel to colder weather with hopes of doing the same to the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Sunday afternoon.

In order to keep performing at their absolute best, however, it's important for everyone to treat their bodies accordingly down the stretch, especially quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield has been dealing with a lingering rib injury and a banged-up ankle that he sustained in Week 17 and Week 18, though neither has kept him from playing altogether.

Following the Bucs' wild-card win over Philly, Mayfield explained to reporters what he's been doing to stay afloat.

"Just a lot more rehab and treatment. Got an unbelievable physiotherapist that's been flying in every week for six years now, so he came twice this week and get to see him again tomorrow," Mayfield said. "Your body is your product and that's like the one job you have to do is to get ready physically to be able to play, so everybody in the locker room at this point in the year – it's a long season. Everybody's fighting some sort of injury and everybody did the best they could to prepare."

Having the same doctor looking after your body for six years is definitely a perk and appears to be working out well for Mayfield, who managed to throw for 337 yards and three touchdowns to beat the Birds, despite battling multiple injuries.

Mayfield took practice lightly last week. He didn't participate on Thursday and was limited the rest of the time. The Bucs will likely take it easy on him again this week as they prepare to face the Lions in the divisional round.
