2023 is going to be a big year for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their young players.

With a lot of undrafted guys set to make the roster and even play large roles, there aren't going to be enough spots to keep everyone on the active roster, so the practice squad is going to be an even better developmental tool in Tampa than ever.

Here is what the practice squad could look like by the end of the week:

John Wolford
Patrick Laird
Ronnie Brown
Taye Barber
Cephus Johnson
Kaylon Geiger
Payne Durham
Chris Murray
Luke Haggard
Deadrin Senat
Jose Ramirez
Ulysees Gilbert
Derreck Pitts
Josh Hayes
Kedrick Whitehead
Avery Young

The Bucs likely go defense-heavy on their active roster, so it makes sense that the practice squad could go in the opposite direction.

This group gives the Bucs a proven piece in John Wolford to lead the scout team, some consistent pieces that could get called up to the active (like Kaylon Geiger), and a few rookies with some upside that could develop for the future that may not make the 53-man roster (Avery Young).

Something could change soon for a few of these guys, especially if they make it to other teams with better opportunities, but it would make sense for the Bucs if they get the option.
