The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have some pros and cons when it comes to their 2023 schedule, as does every team. But, there are some things that stick out on theirs.

The Buccaneers are obviously not the same team they have been the last few years. Sure, Tom Brady is no longer on the team, but they have also made quite a few changes in other places too. For the most part, this is not a team that the national media, and even local media, expect to be competing for a Super Bowl, and that's fine.

We have been down this road before with this team. Before this last Super Bowl win, there were years very similar to what this one can be. So, the schedule is an important thing to look at when you try and guess how their season could be. One CBS Sports analyst listed the good and the bad with the Buccaneers' 2023 schedule.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers One good thing for the Buccaneers: From Sept. 11 thru Oct. 25, the Buccaneers will only be playing one road game. During that six-week span, they have four home games and a bye to go along with their one-road game against the Saints.

One bad thing for the Buccaneers: Starting in Week 8, the Buccaneers have to play four road games in five weeks and two of those games will be coming against the 49ers and Bills. That span could end their season before things even get to the midway point.-John Breech, CBS Sports

The Buccaneers have some things that are good like the analyst mentioned, and some bad things, but there is one bad thing I think he didn't mention. The Buccaneers' bye week is in Week 5, which to me, is a bad thing.

Some people like when their team goes on bye week early in the season, but to me, then you are beat up and exhausted more often than not when the end of the season is near. If it were up to me, I'd rather it be dead in the middle of the season, where everyone can rejuvenate and get ready for the second half of the season.

The good things may outweigh the bad though, you never know.
