The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might not have the most exciting offense in the NFL, but it is easy to see that there are parts of this unit that can be exciting if they are used in the right ways.

Baker Mayfield is a big personality that can make electric plays, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are one of the best wide receiver duos in the league, and the Bucs even have a fun running back to watch in Rachaad White.

It's just more fun to watch White when he is catching the ball rather than running into the teeth of the defense over and over again.

Rachaad White is one of the most athletic running backs in the NFL. Between his speed, quickness, strength, and comfort with the ball in his hands, it was only a matter of time before the Bucs found a way to make the most of White as a player.

Some of us just wish that discovery could've happened sooner.

While Rachaad White hasn't been much between the tackles, he has proven himself as an extremely capable receiver that is able to extend the run through the quick passing and screen game.

White is currently third on the team in receptions, third in receiving yards, and has the highest catch rate amongst the starters on the team.

If you take his numbers out over a full season at their current rate, White is on pace to finish the year with 70 receptions for 566 yards. However, if you take the last three games as the sample, White is on pace to finish his next ten games alone with 55 receptions for 490 yards.

The recent resurgence has been extremely impressive for White and shows a clear shift in how the Bucs have chosen to use one of their best weapons.

It may be extremely conservative, but this is the strategy that has been proven to work for other pass-first teams and it will add an extra dimension to an offense that wants to keep the ball in the hands of its running back.

Assuming this pace keeps up, Rachaad White could finish the season with some very impressive offensive stats and could help Tampa finally find its identity on that side of the ball.
