Another game against the 49ers for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Another loss.

Is anyone truly surprised?

The Bucs haven't looked good against a quality team yet this year, and it stands to reason that the 9ers are the best team Tampa has seen at this point. The results were completely predictable and continue to shed light on some of the Buccaneers' biggest weaknesses.

That was pretty ugly for the Buccaneers from start to finish. The final box score was pretty bad on its own at 27-14 in San Francisco's favor, but the issues for Tampa go beyond that.

Coaching was still uninspired. Todd Bowles and Dave Canales both left a lot to be desired. From runs on first down for the offense to a defense that got gouged by an inferior quarterback, neither side of the ball looked good from a coaching-decision standpoint.

As for the players, the results weren't better there either. Dropped passes, miscommunication, and blown coverage were far too common for a group that has been trying to take ownership of poor execution for weeks now.

The overall product in Tampa is messy right now, and it doesn't show any sign changing given the current staff in place.

When the Buccaneers want to start seeing different results, they'll need to make a dramatic change in how they approach these matchups.
