The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to have to win free agency by finding the best intersection between value and price.
This team can't afford to go out and sign all of the biggest names. It is time to pay up on a few years of going all-in to win with Tom Brady.
Still, that obviously isn't stopping the Bucs from finding some really good signings in this group.
The newest addition to the Buccaneer secondary comes on the heels of an excellent season with the Seahawks that most fans certainly didn't hear enough about.
Not only does Ryan Neal come in and fill a major hole for the Bucs after the departures of starters and depth players alike, but he actually looks like a bonafide starter that could be a major improvement over Mike Edwards after his fringe All-Pro season in Seattle in 2022.
The loss of Edwards could prove to be minimal if Neal is able to put together a season that looks anything close to the one he is coming off of.
The team may still go after a safety in the draft because Todd Bowles is the head coach, but the Buccaneers just knocked this signing at a vital position of need out of the park.
Another great move by Jason Licht.
