Rob Gronkowski isn't ready to commit to football, but he's committed to the Buccaneers.
He even said as much in a recent interview with SB Nation.
"The Buccaneers situation is just too good if I decide to go back and play," Gronkowski toldSB Nation's Debbie Emery. "Like I said, I love all my teammates there. They are all great teammates and all selfless players, they are there for the team and what’s best for the team and the whole organization.
"If I do play football again, it’ll be for the Bucs."
That has to be music to Tom Brady's, the Buccaneers', and Bucs fans ears, everywhere. Now, it's just a matter of waiting for Gronk to be ready to commit to the game.
When that happens remains to be seen, but it certainly won't be on April 30 – the first day after the official conclusion of Gronk Beach Las Vegas.
"I am not going to re-sign then, it actually feels good right now, it feels good to be free — not having any football over my head, working out when I want to work out," Gronk said when asked about returning on April 30. "I love my teammates, I love the Buccaneers organization, everyone from A to Z, they’re all great people and it’s a lot of fun to go to work there."
