The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the worst rushing attack in the NFL right now, and that is saying a lot.

There are a lot of teams across the league that are starting to invest less and less in the run game in favor of making the passing attack better, and this has led to the overall decline of quality of the rushing total and efficiency of teams across the NFL.

The Bucs seem to be in a tier of their own right now due to a running game that can't do anything, and a trade appears to be on the table as one of the only ways of fixing this ghastly attack. A Pro Bowler seems like a good place to start.

Dalvin Cook is one of the best running backs in the NFL over the past ten years, is from Florida, and is available on the trade market due to a limited role with the Jets.

There may be some injury concerns related to the long-term stability of Cook, but that should be a worthy gamble for a guy that could single-handedly fix Tampa's sorry rushing attack.

As was said, Cook has been one of the better backs in the NFL over most sample sizes. Cook was able to post four seasons in a row with over 1,100 yards and was also able to account for 1,339 receiving yards in the same time.

Injuries did hurt Cook somewhat during this time with just one season playing 100% of the games, but it is hard to find a lot of backs across the league that do play all 17 games anyway.

The injuries are annoying, but they shouldn't be a deal-breaker for a guy with Pro Bowl upside if the price is right.

Given the fact that the Jets aren't in a solid position to compete for the playoffs and that Cook still isn't playing much, a Day Three pick seems like it is very much on the table, and the Buccaneers should jump on the chance.

It might still not be enough to completely save this offense, but a guy with a career average of 4.6 yards per carry should be a prime option for a team with the worst rushing average in the NFL right now.

The Buccaneers should at least make the call.
