The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may still have the same starting quarterback they started the season with, but the same can't be said for several teams in the AFC.

The Browns and Bengals have both looked like Super Bowl contenders at various points this season, yet the loss of their starting quarterbacks could completely derail any and all hopes of even making the playoffs (at least for the Bengals).

Why should either of these teams be above throwing money at Tom Brady to see if he can save them from the approaching purgatory?

Some fans might be rolling their eyes at the thought, but think about it for a minute.

Tom Brady didn't retire (for the second time) because he couldn't play football. Brady threw for 4,694 yards and 25 touchdowns last year. The GOAT retired because his prospects of winning in Tampa had dried up.

It seemed like a good point to finally hang the cleats up, to treat that moment as the right time for a mutual break.

However, Brady is a competitor at heart, and how can a guy like that say not to making his legacy even more impossible to copy by winning a Super Bowl with a third team?

The Browns and the Bengals are both built to win. Cleveland has the best defense in the NFL, one of the brightest head coaches, and a team that was winning with PJ Walker. The Bengals have one of the best wide receiver rooms in the NFL and a defense of their own that is nothing to turn your nose at.

The Bengals might take a bit of work to get back into the playoff picture, but the fact remains that Brady makes either team a co-favorite in the division with the Ravens. The Browns might actually become an absolute favorite based on what we have seen.

It might be hard to pull off the rare un-retirement for the second time, but if Brady really does want to play high-level football after taking time for himself, it is hard to imagine any better options showing themselves down the line.

One can at least safely bet that at least one of these teams is going to/has already reached out to the GOAT to see where his feelings are at.

Crazier things have happened. Don't rule it out yet.
