There are a lot of questions for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to answer before the 2023 NFL season begins, but none is more important than who the starting quarterback will be.

There is no position that is more pivotal to team success in the modern NFL. The Buccaneers handling this situation poorly will lead to a lot of people losing their jobs. A correct answer could lead to winning the NFC South.

The good news for everyone is that while the team is playing this close to the vest, there is an obvious answer as to who should start between Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask.

The Buccaneers would be downright insane to pick Kyle Trask as their starter over Baker Mayfield. Baker is the far better quarterback for a team that wants to win, and even Rob Gronkowski sees this as the likely scenario after an appearance on Up and Adams.

Gronk is absolutely right. There will be a competition, but it is Baker's to lose far more than it is Kyle Trask's to win. There is just too much upside to Baker as a player and too many questions surrounding Trask's abilities to play in the NFL.

It may be the harsh truth for Florida fans that also root for the Bucs, but it is a truth that more people need to start accepting.

If you don't want to listen to us, at least listen to Gronk.
