The 2023 season is sure to be a little messy for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but the one thing that should make it easy to come back to the team each week is a very bright rookie class that is actually headlined by some very talented late-round picks and undrafted free agents.

Some of these guys are in great positions to ball out for the Bucs, especially when looking at all the opportunity to contribute on this roster.

Here is who you should keep a close eye on:

Trey Palmer

This list could easily just be one name. Palmer feels like he has been the most-hyped player on the roster for the better part of the last month based on his explosive play and dominance against guys like Sauce Gardner in practice.

While the Bucs seemed to focus more on depth in their most recent draft over guys that will come in and compete for starting roles, Palmer looks like an easy lock to be one of the three starting wide receivers after the injury to Russell Gage.

Sean Tucker

Staying on offense, Tucker is another one of those names that will look like a major steal down the road.

How the Bucs were able to land guys like Tucker and Palmer so late is still beyond this writer.

Still, Tucker has shown the burst and the ability to be viable in both aspects of Tampa's offense. This should all work together nicely to help him overtake Ke'Shawn Vaughn as the RB2 in Tampa.

Calijah Kancey

How do you end a list like this without picking one of the most popular rookies on the team?

Kancey hasn't done anything in the preseason games yet, but that is because he is an obvious contributor for when the season starts.

Kancey is going to get a mountain of reps and opportunities to prove himself from the jump, and you best believe he will live up to the hype in a massive way.
