The Tampa Bay Buccaneers still have a ways to go before they are back in a position to compete for a deep playoff run, but they are certainly doing all in their power to stem the bleeding as much as possible.

Free agency has been the name of the game for Jason Licht and company, and while there have been some strange moves and cuts so far, the last few weeks have looked good for the guys in pewter and red.

The newest signing is far more good than bad.

The loss of right guard Shaq Mason is going to hurt, especially with no one else on the depth chart that looked like a good fit to take over the role, but it looks like the Bucs just addressed this with the signing of Matt Feiler.

Feiler is a jack of all trades on the line, having played at tackle and guard on both sides.

Perhaps this experience and consistent play across positions will be just what the Bucs need to bolster their line, specifically at the right guard position or potentially at tackle.

Feiler isn't coming off his best season after a stint with the Chargers, but he has flashed really good play throughout the rest of his career, a career that he has been remarkably healthy in.

There will obviously still be a competition for the starting roles in Tampa, but this signing looks like it should be able to address one of the open holes on a line that needs to be much better in 2023.
