The Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be more than happy with what they have put on the field so far this year.
The wins have been expected and the loss has come against one of the best teams in the league. Again, not much to hate.
Now, the Bucs have a chance to prove themselves even further with a matchup against the Lions, and that matchup could get more difficult with the potential loss of defensive starter Shaquil Barrett.
This isn't great news for a Buccaneer defense that is going to have its hands full with one of the best offenses in the league.
Jared Goff and the Lions have dominated opposing defenses all year, and the Bucs trying to slow a group like this down without one of its best players would be extremely difficult.
Yaya Diaby has received a good bit of hype from the coaching staff and should hopefully help out with there being a chance of Tampa being without Barrett and Anthony Nelson, but that would be a lot to put on the rookie.
The Lions have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL. The Bucs will need Shaq Barrett healthy and on the field if they want to take advantage of that group.
Buccaneers define themselves in dominant Week 4 win
You can’t argue with those results.
