Bills aren’t the only adversary Bucs have to fight off in Week 11 and they have zero control over the situation

The beauty of football is there are outside factors that can affect the game. Crowd noise, referees, weather, etc. are just a few examples of elements that can sway the outcome.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading into a very important game against the Buffalo Bills – Highmark Stadium is one of the hardest venues to play in and Bills fans are as wild as they come. Not only do the Bucs have to fight through that – the weather is supposed to be the worst they’ve faced all year.

Per RotoGrinders weather forecaster Kevin Roth, this matchup will feature the worst weather of the week. He recently forecasted, “Winds… to be 15-20mph sustained, gusting up over 30mph. On top of that, we have a likely rain/snow mix falling during the game. The winds alone are a bit of a problem for deep throws and kicks, the precipitation adds another issue for offensive efficiency“, and gave it the company’s “orange” label, which is the most severe of the three.

The offensive line aspect is a bit worrisome for the Bucs

The Bucs’ interior offensive line has struggled recently and it’s highly unlikely starting left guard Ben Bredeson plays on Sunday, so it’s easy to see why the precipitation aspect makes folks feel a bit uneasy.

Granted, the Bills have suffered some big-time injuries on their defensive line, which obviously helps. Star Ed Oliver, the vastly underrated Michael Hoecht, and rookie Landon Jackson won’t play in this game, but it looks like T.J. Sanders will return this week. Even though he’s a rookie, the Bills need all the help they can get and he’s a top-50 pick, so there’s plenty of potential there.

Either way, it looks like the Bucs are going to be battling more than just the Bills and we’ll see just how much it impacts them on Sunday.
