Buccaneers Final Roster Cuts Tracker: Keeping up with every move as Tampa Bay slims down to 53 players ahead of the 2025 season
Keep up with all the Bucs’ roster cuts right here.
Training camp and the preseason are officially over for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the rest of the NFL, which means roster cuts are right around the corner.
The Bucs have some tough decisions to make. Not only have there been some tight battles at certain positions – injuries are also playing a big role in what Todd Bowles and Co. ultimately decide to do. There are several players who are set to make the team, but have lingering injuries that have their Week 1 status in doubt. Therefore, the Buccaneers may have to carry an extra player in a certain position group simply to have enough bodies.
“When you become a good team, the cuts get harder,” Todd Bowles told reporters after the Bucs’ 23-19 loss to the Buffalo Bills. “When you don’t have anything, you can keep everybody. The cuts become harder. It’s always difficult because you don’t want to be a guy to tell [someone] they can’t play pro ball anymore. It doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road, it just means it’s the end of the road here. That’s always tough when you have to tell someone that. I think any coach will tell you that same thing. [There are] always difficult decisions, but we understand that going in from a coaches and players standpoint, and we make decisions we think will make us better and we move on from
there.”
With that being said, below are the Bucs’ final roster cuts. We will continue to update this as more information comes in.
