Free agency is officially here, as the new league started on March 11 at 4 p.m. ET .

Now, all of the deals we saw come to fruition have crystalized. Whether it be a trade or an outside addition, that player is locked in. And, moving forward, players will be sign their deals as soon as possible and teams won’t have to worry about any more Baltimore Ravens-like business.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have taken some hits, like the loss of Mike Evans, but have also made some solid moves in signing linebacker Alex Anzalone and running back Kenneth Gainwell. That’s not everything, though.

Buccaneers’ Additions

  • The Bucs signed former Pittsburgh Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell to a two-year, $14 million deal, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
  • Alex Anzalone is officially a Buccaneer after signing a two-year, $17 million deal.
  • Quarterback Jake Browning signed a one-year deal.
  • Defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson signed a one-year deal.

In-house players retained

  • Re-signed QB Connor Bazelak to a one-year, $1.005 million deal
  • Re-signed LS Evan Deckers to a one-year, $1.075 million deal
  • Signed Cade Otton to a three-year, $30 million deal.
  • Tendered running back Sean Tucker using the right of first refusal tender, which is valued at $3.52 million in 2026.

Notable Departures

  • It happened: Buccaneers legend Mike Evans is no longer a Buccaneer after signing a three-year, $60.4 million max deal with the 49ers.
  • Jamel Dean signed a three-year deal with the Steelers.
